Call us biased, but we think old homes deserve a little respect when it comes to choosing paint colors for both the interiors and exterior. This is not to say that you must stick with that avocado green in your vintage bathroom. But we do think that older homes retain more of their character and charm when colors in keeping with the home’s era are used. .
Refresh the interior of your home: If you’re feeling like the interior of your house could use a change, try painting a few of the rooms a new color. Over time, paint can start to wear and become faded. Brighten up the rooms in your home by painting them a new color, or even just doing a new coat of the same color. You’ll be amazed at how refreshed the space looks.

This isn’t a highly-paid profession, but on the other hand, you don’t even need a high school diploma. An average wage of $16.92 per hour isn’t too bad for a position that requires so little to get started.
"After searching the CCO page for painters and recommendations, I gave Josh with A Painters Touch, LLC a call. Josh had planned on having a day for himself but after telling him that this was the second time I had cleared the room to be painted only to be stood up, he stepped up to knock out the job and within an hour the room was on it's way to a new color. He was prompt, courteous, neat, professional and did a fantastic job. If you have any painting or pressure washing needs I would highly recommend giving him a call. Thanks Josh for a job well done!"

When asked the first thing he’d do if he were to retire tomorrow, Joe says he’d take a vacation before returning to pursue another business venture. “I’m the kind of guy who will probably never retire, so if I were to stop painting, I’d probably just go into some other industry. However, first my wife and I would do some travelling. Europe is at the top of our list, so we’d probably start with Portugal or Spain and go from there.” A: Weightlifting. Painters usually find it hard to estimate the cost of prep work accurately. This is because the amount of work required varies greatly from job to job. The more the damage, the greater the amount of prep work required and hence, greater the cost. Dirty walls covered with grease have to be thoroughly cleaned for the new paint to adhere properly. Wood surfaces should be sanded 5 along the grain and dusted clean ($1.80 per square foot). Any cracks and holes in the drywall will also have to have to be repaired ($1.50 to $3.00 per square foot).
As for actually using the sprayer, the main thing to remember is to not overcoat with paint. Two or three quick passes will minimize drippage as opposed to trying to get a full coat on all at once. (Which I learned the hard way. The first room I painted was so drippy droppy, we had to do some extra sanding once it dried. I felt so bad!) Only by actually using the sprayer will you get a method down. By the time I was done with the sprayer, I felt like a pro and actually had fun painting!
