5.0 out of 5 stars It works well if you follow the directions I've read the negative reviews and haven't found them to match my good experience with the painter. I like the edger very much and recommend it with these cautions: You must read the directions and follow them, and you do have to keep the O-ring and spout clean after filling and before remounting the paint pad. I strongly advise practicing first with water rather than paint to see how the thumb lever and plunger loop work in a coordinated way. That will demonstrate why some people describe paint going where they don't want it. If you release the lever in the wrong order you will eject paint. I always fill the edger aimed down into the paint can and in a coordinated way as described in the directions, so it's never been a problem.

Choosing the right color for a room can be tricky. No one wants to make a costly mistake and then have to live with it for the next couple of years. This is why many professional painting companies have an in-house color consultant on their team to help clients make the best color choices that are in line with their tastes, lifestyle, the mood and purpose of the room, and lighting. While some companies offer free color consultation for clients, others charge anywhere between $75 to $350 for this service.
You can, of course, choose bolder colors and make them work with older homes. But we advise choosing colors that play well with the age and vibe of the home and that bring out the home’s good bones.

FOSTER CITY – Dan Ford has been a member of the Silicon Valley community for many years, but before he was painting local homes and commercial properties, he was immersed in an industry more closely associated with the region’s namesake. “I was in software sales for 13 years and actually rose to the rank of senior account manager at IBM,” he recounts. “One day I just decided I didn’t want to do it anymore, and that I wanted to work for myself instead.”
Ruben speaks Spanish as well and can do any job you need. I highly recommend you give him a call and book him.
Ignacio and his team were absolutely wonderful, they took their time with the patching and caulking - repairing several large posts and eaves on our roof...
Painting can really add up so fast and be really expensive – but it’s interesting just how much money you were able to save. Plus, you learned so much and got a lot of experience that it’s probably worth it in the end. Gerilyn Larsen February 25, 2015
Request the name and contact of their insurer. Even if the contractor presents you with a certificate of insurance, they could call right after your meeting and cancel. Call the insurer yourself to make sure that their insurance is up to date.
While it is certainly possible to be a decent painting contractor and not own a website, the best contractors are also successful business people. They understand that today’s consumer is looking for instant information, and a website will include all the details homeowners are looking for: references, before and after photos, details of services, contact information and history of the company, owner and staff.

Masonite lap siding is commonly recommended for a hand brushed job. Hand brushing helps preserve the siding by pushing paint into every lap and it will seal the edge of each board where Masonite tends to swell and expand due to water damages.
